Greetings! I'm a counselor in training with a focus on play and story through expressive arts and nature-based therapy. I believe in the power of human connection to change our brains for the better. I've always been interested in how people think, act, and feel, and how we make meaning out of life—what makes us who we are. Growing up between Mexico and the US and speaking Spanish semi-fluently has infused my worldview with curiosity and empathy for the different ways people perceive the world. I was inspired to pursue counseling by observing my young nephew navigate an increasingly complicated world, wanting to support people like him and their families through the many challenges and demands that arise. Creative solutions can be found not only in our strengths, but in our shadows.
