As a therapist I believe that humans thrive through connection and finding a sense of belonging. I work with LGBTQAI+ Folx experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions with an emphasis in gender affirming care. I value walking alongside and supporting you in finding your own individual path to living a fulfilling life. I am here to support you in your journey navigating the world and in being able to live the life you know you need and want to live. I also have extensive experience working with Neurodiverse Folx. I am certified as a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and recently applied for my Registered Play Therapist credential.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in creativity and relational healing. I specialize in using play therapy interventions with all ages to support processing of emotions and experiences with or without verbal processing. This includes Sand Tray, Art, and Somatic Experiential Play Therapy.

My office offers a warm and welcoming space to process in a non-judgmental atmosphere. I provide multiple sand trays, art materials, and toys to support clients in processing both verbally and non-verbally, as they are comfortable. You can expect me to meet you where you are and be non-directive in my approach.

I am able to practice in WI and MN and offer in person and telehealth sessions. I value talking to individuals about the therapy process and expectations before scheduling. Please contact me at 651 243 0148 via voice or text or at khector@summercounseling.com with any questions or to discuss setting up an appointment.
